Step by Step Walkthrough
YouTube Channel Transfer (Google Brand Account)
1. In YouTube Studio, go to Settings > Permissions. 2. If it is a Brand Account, invite the buyer email as "Owner". 3. The buyer accepts the email invitation. 4. Due to Google security rules, there is a mandatory 7 day waiting period before the buyer can be promoted to "Primary Owner". 5. After 7 days, promote the buyer to Primary Owner and remove the seller email.
Facebook Page Transfer (Meta Business Suite)
1. In Meta Business Suite or Page Settings, go to Page Access / People with Task Access. 2. Add the buyer Facebook profile with "Full Control". 3. Once the buyer accepts and confirms access, the seller removes their own admin access from the page.
Instagram & TikTok Account Transfer
1. Log into the account and update the primary email address to the buyer email. 2. Update the phone number to the buyer phone. 3. Ensure the buyer receives the security verification codes on both email and SMS. 4. Disconnect any linked Facebook or third party single sign on accounts.
